This page explains the types of commercial messages we may send, how we obtain consent, and how you can withdraw it at any time.

1. Legal Framework
Commercial electronic communications are regulated by Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce (Turkey). Under this law, sending commercial messages without prior consent is prohibited. Akbaş Advisory sends commercial messages only to those who have explicitly provided their consent.
2. What Is a Commercial Message?
Commercial messages are electronic communications sent to promote or market the products, services and activities of Akbaş Advisory via phone, email or other electronic channels, for commercial or promotional purposes.
3. Scope of Consent
Where consent is given, messages in the following categories may be sent:
Updates on incentive legislation, new support programmes, and changes in tax or investment regulations.
Sector-specific analyses, investment advisory insights, and regulatory commentary published on our website.
Invitations to seminars, webinars and professional events organised or sponsored by Akbaş Advisory.
Reminders about upcoming legal deadlines, incentive application periods, and important calendar dates for existing clients.
4. How Consent Is Obtained
Consent is obtained via the checkbox provided on our website's contact, consultation request or enquiry forms, with the option to receive commercial messages. No message is sent without this checkbox being actively selected.
5. Right to Withdraw Consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time using any of the following methods, and we will cease sending commercial messages immediately:
- By sending an email to info@akbasadvisory.com with the subject "Unsubscribe";
- By clicking the unsubscribe link included in every commercial message;
- By calling +90 533 724 52 14.
Withdrawal requests are processed within a maximum of 3 business days. Transactional and service-related messages unrelated to commercial communication are not affected by withdrawal.
6. Complaints
Complaints regarding commercial messages may be submitted via the İleti Yönetim Sistemi (IYS — Message Management System) operated by the Ministry of Commerce, or directly to us.
